WASHINGTON, MO., September 9, 2026, Clemco Industries will bring a piece of Washington, Missouri, to the NASCAR Cup Series when the company serves as primary sponsor of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and the Hyak Motorsports No. 47 Chevrolet at World Wide Technology Raceway on Sunday, September 13th.
The Enjoy Illinois 300 brings the Clemco and Hyak Motorsports partnership close to home, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. To make the weekend even more meaningful, Clemco is sharing space on the No. 47 with two organizations that have strong Washington area connections: longtime education and workforce development partner East Central College and fellow local business and NASCAR sponsor Blues Hog.
East Central College will ride onboard the No. 47, highlighting a longstanding relationship with Clemco focused on education, workforce development and continuous learning. ECC education, technical training and STEM programs help Clemco employees develop new skills and prepare for greater responsibilities while building the next generation of talent needed by advanced manufacturing and motorsports.
“East Central College is an important partner in the health and continued success of our business,” said Mark Warren, President of Clemco. “Many of our employees have attended ECC or are enrolled today, and we see firsthand how those experiences help people grow professionally and personally. The STEM and technical skills being developed at ECC are essential to advanced manufacturing and increasingly important throughout motorsports. Investing in education strengthens our people, our business and our community.”
Blues Hog will also ride onboard the No. 47, bringing together two Washington area businesses that have independently built relationships within NASCAR. The partnership will continue at Talladega Superspeedway, where Clemco will return the support by riding onboard the Niece Motorsports No. 4 truck when Blues Hog serves as primary sponsor.
JF Electric will join Clemco as an associate sponsor for the race. Based in the St. Louis region, JF Electric serves many of the same industries as Clemco, supporting the infrastructure, manufacturing, energy and industrial operations that keep businesses and communities moving. Bringing JF Electric onboard further demonstrates how NASCAR can connect companies with shared customers, industries and communities through motorsports.
“This is one of the things that makes NASCAR special,” said Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the Hyak Motorsports No. 47 Chevrolet. “It is cool to see local businesses come together to support a team, our sport and their community. Bringing East Central College into it makes it even better. STEM and technical programs help develop the engineers, technicians and problem solvers our sport needs and can introduce a whole new generation to careers in NASCAR.”
Together, Clemco, ECC and Blues Hog showcase the “Hometown Hell Yeah” spirit of NASCAR: local businesses, education, employees, race teams and fans coming together around competition and community.
“We have spent 85 years building Clemco alongside the people and organizations of this community,” Warren added. “Having East Central College and Blues Hog with us gives us an opportunity to celebrate where we come from on a national stage. That is our hometown, and that is something worth being proud of.”
Stenhouse, winner of the 2023 Daytona 500, will drive the Clemco No. 47 Chevrolet in the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway on September 13.
